DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 2026 Shades of Green Fashion Show\, the Triangle’s most anticipated runway event\, where style meets purpose. Presented by The Durham (NC) Chapter of The Links\, Incorporated\, in collaboration with The Links Foundation\, Incorporated\, and generously supported by our “Rip the Runway” Presenting Sponsor\, The Forest at Duke\, this unforgettable afternoon of fashion and philanthropy will take place on Saturday\, March 28\, 2026\, at the Durham Convention Center. \nStarted in 2014\, the show has become the signature charity fashion event of the Triangle – capturing more than 600 loyal supporters. The event raises fund to support the Chapter’s community outreach and scholarship programs – which advance education\, empowerment\, and service within the Triangle. \nThe event kicks of at 10 AM with boutique vendors and brunch bites. The runway show starts at 11:30 AM and showcases everyday wear to glamorous evening attire. Network\, brunch\, and shop from 12:30-2 PM when the “Fashion House” reopens. \nTickets\nTickets always sell-out\, so be sure to purchase yours early! There are a range of seating options to fit your desired experience. Prices range from $100-750+ and are available on Eventbrite. \n \nSponsors\nSponsors are the backbone of the Shades of Green Fashion Show. Your support benefits education\, health\, and empowerment initiatives across the Triangle\, along with The Durham (NC) Chapter of The Links\, Incorporated. Sponsorship costs range from $250-10\,000 and come with a range of benefits for you and your organization. However\, we recommend parking in the Durham Centre Garage at 300 W Morgan St. Parking is typically free on Saturdays and there are over 700 spots to choose from. Find directions to the venue and the garage on our website. \nAbout Durham Chapter of The Links\, Incorporated\nThe Links\, Incorporated in an international 501(c)3 non-profit. It is one of the oldest and largest volunteer service organizations focused on enriching\, sustaining\, and ensuring the cultural and economic survival of African Americans and persons of African ancestry. \nThe Durham (NC) Chapter was established in October of 1958 by Mrs. Albert Turner\, who served as 1st president\, along with 15 other black women. Members of the Chapter provide time\, financial resources\, and their individual talents to support causes that impact the Durham community. Since inception\, the chapter has donated over $150\,000 to charities and community service organizations.
