For Nov-Dec, the Durham Convention Center will be hosting a donation drive for Urban Ministries of Durham! Everyone is invited to declutter and participate. Grab that bag that's been sitting in your garage for WAY too long, turn on The Home Edit and clean out your closet, and bring all your goodies down to the convention center.

Urban Ministries of Durham
Urban Ministries of Durham connects with the community to end homelessness and fight poverty by offering food, shelter and a future to neighbors in need. Every year, they provide over 250,000 meals, shelter 800+ people, and serve over 6,000 community members. The nonprofit is the primary point of contact for anyone in need living in Durham. The group provides immediate relief to those who need it to help everyone get back on their feet quicker.
This donation drive will help them provide resources to continue helping low-income and homeless populations within our neighborhood, and they rely on partners like us to help them keep the shelves stocked, especially around the holiday season. The donated items will be distributed to over 500 households who are at risk of becoming homeless and be used to benefit those already homeless.
We hope you can spare some time, and items, to benefit our community this month. If you have any questions about what you can donate or how to donate, please give us a call at 919.956.9404 or email Genevieve at firstname.lastname@example.org.
